KVTC leads first campus blood donation drive

Kegalle Vocational Training Campus organized its first ever blood donation campaign on January 14, 2026, mobilizing students, staff, alumni, and the surrounding community to contribute towards the national blood supply.

The campaign was held within the Kegalle Vocational Training Campus, offering a supportive environment for new and returning donors. Medical professionals guided the process, while student volunteers coordinated registration, refreshments, and post-donation care to ensure a safe and welcoming experience for everyone.

This inaugural drive is a milestone for KVTC's community outreach calendar, reflecting the campus commitment to vocational excellence paired with civic responsibility. Organizers confirmed strong donor turnout throughout the day and pledged to make the blood donation drive an annual flagship event.

වත්මන් රජය විසින් සංචාරකයින් මිලියන 5 ක ඉලක්කයක් වෙත සැලසුම් සකස් කර ඇති අතර එම ඉලක්ක සාර්ථක කිරීම සඳහා කර්මාන්තයේ කටයුතු කිරීම සඳහා සැලකිය යුතු ශ්‍රම පිරිසකගේ අවශ්‍යතාවය මතුවී තිබේ.

ඊට පිළියමක් ලෙස සුළු හා මධ්‍ය පරිමාණ කර්මාන්තකරුවන්ගේ ශ්‍රම අවශ්‍යතා සපුරාලන බහුවිධ නිපුණත්වයන්ගෙන් යුත් ශ්‍රමික කණ්ඩායමක් නිර්මාණය කිරීම සඳහා තෘතීයක හා වෘත්තීය අධ්‍යාපන කොමිසන් සභාව විසින් NVQ-3 මට්ටමේ Hotel Operations Multitasker යනුවෙන් නව පාඨමාලාවක් ආරම්භ කිරීමට සූදානම් කර ඇත.

2025 දෙසැම්බර් 23 දින SLITHM-Colombo ආයතනයේදී SLITHM ආයතනය හා සමෘද්ධි සංවර්ධන දෙපාර්තමේන්තුව සමඟ Kegalle Vocational Training Campus වන අප ආයතනය අවබෝධතා ගිවිසුමකට අත්සන් තැබූ අතර එමගින් අප ආයතනය හරහා මේ පාඨමාලාව හැදෑරීමේ අවස්ථාව ඔබට ලබා දීමට අප සතුටින් දැනුම් දෙමු.
